TYRRICE TAYLOR

 My visual art is a combination of many different art mediums. My commercial work is influenced by fashion, style, music, and culture. I pay close attention to detail while focusing on bringing out the natural beauty of my subject. Pierre Debusschere helped me develope my cinematic style. Watching his fashion films and music videos for designers/artist such as Raf SImmons and Beyonce,  encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and use color schemes, camera movements and unique editing techniques to visually evoke emotion from audiences. 

   My experimental work is greatly influenced by Egyptian art and history. My experimental short film, Africa-Journey to America, is a representation of how Africans were stripped from royalty and forced into slavery by western civilization. As a visual artist, I promote self expression with minimalistic values to my audience in the hopes of encouraging them to love the skin their in.
